lol, I think I hear an echo...
Same shyt, different day. Should we dig up all the threads where the goofs here said Ward would find a way out of the Kovalev fight? And, then the subsequent threads about him ducking the rematch?

He's got so many people just waiting w/ baited breath to see him fail. And, he keeps proving them wrong over and over. It's Floyd all over again. And, when he retires, they'll say he did it to duck one guy or another, just like they do w/ May.

Based on Great White Hope. Notice these are the same fools that said the exact same thing about Kovalev, TWICE.

how can anyone tell if the OP is trolling?

I think this is great news. Makes the challenge way better for Ward, since many know Beterbiev beat Kova in the ams. This would elevate Ward fighting 2 bone crushers from Eastern-Euro block. Ward becomes Cruiser champ afterwards? I'm down

                tsk tsk tsk

Don't bring race into it, racist fkn pos.lol

Besides, Ward's half cracker, so he's half great hope himself, right?

                I like to think so.

I just despise his bible thumpery.

Like that make-believe sky wizard or that long dead ***ish cult leader he likes so much would approve of dudes punching each other in the face just so they could say "I'm the best at punching dudes in the face!!! Yeeah booiiii!!!"...

                gtfo with that shít.

I think this fight is next if I'm reading between the lines accurately...

In July, Top Rank won a purse bid for $315,000 for the right to promote Beterbiev-Koelling, even though it doesn't promote either fighter. Top Rank, however, is likely to sign Beterbiev, who recently split from promoter Yvon Michel.

Russian-born, Montreal-based Beterbiev (11-0, 11 KOs), 32, one of boxing's most devastating punchers and a two-time Olympian, and Germany's Koelling (23-1, 6 KOs), 27, will fight for the right to become one of unified 175-pound world titleholder Andre Ward's mandatory challengers.
                  http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...n-tripleheader

“Andre Ward is promoted by our friends at RocNation. We don’t interfere with anybody’s contract and neither would Andre,” Arum said. “He’s a very, very lovely guy, very intelligent guy, and RocNation’s been very good to Andre and Andre is not looking to break away from RocNation.”

Ward has noted that he is a TV free agent and is no longer contracted to HBO. “So it would depend on RocNation, on which platform Andre would want to fight on.”

Hold tight: You notice the wording there? There is the possibility that Arum has hinted at the furtherance of a direction and trend here. Top Rank won the purse bid for light heavyweight contender Artur Beterbiev’s next fight, against Enrico Koelling, and will feature the Al Haymon-advised boxer on an October 31 card put together by Top Rank, portions of which will run on ESPN. Is it too lengthy a leap in logic to see Ward fighting on a Top Rank card, as Beterbiev (11-0, 11 knockouts) will be?

And regarding RocNation and its place within the box-o-sphere, does Arum get the sense that the Jay Z arm will continue in the space? Four-division titleholder Miguel Cotto is now with Golden Boy Promotions and I didn’t hear back from RocNation when I inquired about the length of their deal with the Oakland pound-for-pound ace.

“Yes, I do. I met with their officials in our office,” Arum continued. “And my feeling was – and they said – they would continue in boxing. Now they may work to some extent in coordination with us, which I would welcome, but they will definitely remain in boxing.”

                    Would be a great fight

Beterbiev has a muderous punchers chance.

I strongly agreed with this but Ward impressed me in his second fight with Kovalev, I think it's a close fight, but if it's a war, I still favor Beterbiev.
