So when a boxer retires, does all his knowledge, experience, and opinion automatically become irrelevant? Or is it just that you, for some reason, have no respect for Matthew Hatton? If your lack of respect for Matthew Hatton stems from him picking against your favorite fighter, then your being effeminate. He's not my uncle, and he's never been a superstar, but real boxing fans know of him and we afford him a modicum of respect.

I don't care who he picked to win this fight, and that's just the point. I'd feel pretty confident in saying about 95% of the boxing world really doesn't care what his opinion is either. He was never a world champion, top fighter in any weight class etc. He's the brother of a big name fighter and that's his biggest claim to fame. Naw, It's just obvious that I have more reverence for boxers & boxing than you do. You insult the whole sport when you disregard what Hatton thinks simply because he "was never a world champion, top fighter in any weight class etc."
