Why aren't most fights legally on youtube?

Do the promoters get money through replays on some networks or why is it that they dont just put all their fights on youtube maybe 2 weeks after they have aired?

I can only see advantages. Their boxers get more exposure, because it is more easy for fans to watch past fights and they also get youtube advertising money. Dont know how much, but earning money is better than not earning money.

I just tried to do some research on some boxers, but couldnt some of the fights, which were broadcasted by ESPN.
But i have no trouble finding obscure thai or japanese fights somehow.

Yea I agree. I think YT only pays like $1/per 1000 views or something in that ballpark, but like you said its still money for something cats aren't getting money for now. And the real upside is it'll help grow your fighters name + your promotion to likely sell more tickets so its not like there wouldn't be upside beyond whatever YT money you make.

That's short-sighted. Once the fight's over it should be all about promoting the next one, and having fights available for free on YouTube is a great way to do that and keep up a small revenue stream.

you do know licensing fee is sold all over the world, and rights gets sold all the time right. Mayweather and oscar are 2 that come to mind that bought all theirs.
