Canelo has stole from you idiots his last 6 Catchweight boring fights. Daniel Jacobs is 50 times better then Canelo last 6 opponents.
What part of this are you having a hard time comprehending?

We need to reward the fighters who are willing to give us the best possible fights, not the fighters who are blatantly stealing from us and have no problem rubbing our faces In It afterwards.

GGG vs Canelo Is the real deal and they both deserve to be paid. As fans of the sport we need to support fighters who are willing to fight other great fighters. Not fights that consist of a guy with a record of 49-0 and 21 years of experience against a guy with a record of 0-0 with 0 years of experience.

What about Canelo's catchweight fight that Floyd (A-side) claimed Canelo demanded?

Coupled with the lackluster promotion, Oscar's unhealthy obsession with Floyd, and now the $80 price tag, I can honestly see this doing Ward v Kov numbers. Oscar probably knows that's a real possibility, might be why he's nickel-and-diming the loyal "hardcore fans". Seriously, there is almost no buzz for this fight on social media. That doesn't bode well. Floyd and Showtime wrecked HBO's ****. Also find it funny the joke fight had a better undercard than the fight that will save boxing.

Finally, Alvarez said, he did offer to go to 152 so the fight could be finalized.

"I'm the one that made the decision to go to 152," he said.

People will be surprised at how fast he will be. The [catch-weight] is something that had to be done [to get the deal made]. I don't think it will affect either fighter one bit. I think on the contrary, it will probably play to Canelo's advantage. I think he will have no problem making 152. I think the way it benefits him is not only will he work harder, but he'll be faster inside the ring." Oscar

After his win, Alvarez challenged Mayweather on national television. Mayweather is scheduled to fight on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Alvarez approached Oscar De La Hoya, President of Golden Boy Promotions, and requested a fight with Mayweather.
"It's what I want, the Mayweather fight. That's what we put on the table. I feel more mature and for that I am willing to go down to 150 pounds," said Canelo to Sal Rodriguez. "De la Hoya said he was going to pursue the Mayweather fight [for me]. We are ready for it. It's what people want, for me to fight someone like [Mayweather

Here's a great quote from a boxingscene on that article

Sad thing is he already offered that weight when I'm positive Floyd would have fought him @154 without problems. Novice negotiating 101.

Why can't we support all fighters without hating on other fighters like you golden boy fans do?

Lmao GBP and Canelo wanted that fight bad they're mad they didn't get it or else it would of helped save that sinking ship. Boxing is nothing but a bunch of jealous hypocrites

The Golden Boy himself Oscar de la Hoya said that McGregor can fight Canelo Alvarez at 160 pounds if he really wants a megafight. He made the comments to FightHub TV.
De la Hoya said a fight with Alvarez “makes all the sense in the world,” and would be “a guaranteed knockout.”
The former boxing legend added that a Mexican vs. an Irishman would be a “hell of a fight.”

Team Canelo had their built in excuses before the fight was started like cowards.
He fought Matthew Hatton at 150. Lol Canelo is the Catchweight king.

The fine will stand against Canelo Álvarez, who weighed in at 151.8 pounds and will forfeit $70,000 of his $350,000 purse. The Hatton camp asked Alvarez to try to lose the weight, which he agreed to do after a spirited discussion. When he came back to the scale about an hour later, he failed to make the limit of 150, when he in at 151.4 on the scale.

And this is the reason the fight going to tank. Fans and Writers (boxingscene, Steve Kim, doug fischer, fat dan) spent too much time hating on Floyd fight instead of promoting the "real fight" with the most horrible undercard in recent years. Should of at least put Matthyse on the card instead of a bunch of c/d level fighters.
Oscar so dumb he missed out a chance to gain new fans from mma to purchase GGG vs Canelo. Now they are boycotting it lol

That's not even adjusted for inflation, it's higher. $50 in 1999 had the buying power of $73. They are charging $7 more even if you go with the inflation angle.
