Idk if he's racist but one thing is for certain if you block anyone and they didn't spam you or it's a ex of some sort you're a strait biiiatch no way around it, means your feelings were touched and you don't want none no more.

Blocking Guillermo Rigondeaux on twitter is a blatant act of racism and Dan Rafael should be dismissed immediately of his position at ESPN. I can't believe that such a bigoted act of hatred is going unnoticed and thank you to Dontae's Boxing Nation for exposing and bringing to light this hate crime. Thank you DBN.Comment

oh, wait....he isnt blocking every black athlete.Comment

In no other sport would this be acceptable.
Can you imagine Tim Duncan back in his day getting blocked by an ESPN personality just because he was "boring?"Comment

Shit is ******ed. I've read Dan's articles for years. He's a Rigo-hater. No two ways about it. Rafael loves come-forward, rock-em-sock-em fighters. Nothing wrong with that, but when a fighter fights in a different style -- especially one so talented as Rigo -- a supposedly professional boxing journalist should be able to write objectively about it.Comment

Rafael is not a reporter. He is an analyst.
There is a MAJOR difference between those 2 professions.Comment

Dan Rafael is not a reporter?
Of course he is you ****ing idiot.
Lets see what ESPN themselves gave for Rafael's job title in a press release.
"ESPN senior writer Dan Rafael has signed a new, multi-year agreement to remain at ESPN as the company’s lead boxing multimedia reporter and columnist."
Rafael will continue to serve as ESPN’s lead digital and print boxing reporter; and contributor to SportsCenter. ESPN senior writer Dan Rafael has signed a new, multi-year agreement to remain at ESPN as the company’s lead boxing multimedia reporter and columnist.
Lets also look up the definition of reporter.
"a person who reports, especially one employed to report news or conduct interviews for the press or broadcasting media."
Doesn't Rafael do that?
Not a reporter though.
