I've started noticing a trend that whatever fighter looks better at the weigh in usually wins the fight. If a fighter looks drained its the most likely hell lose badly,if they look fresh & cut w nothing but muscle they usually win. Ill leave it at that,as its up to interpretation who looked better. It reminds me of picking horses after going to stables before a race.

I only hope for 2 things that whoevers fav fighter loses don't start crying making excuses,& may it be a war.

Canelo hasn't stopped anyone noteworthy at all to say he hits harder than Jacobs.

Anyone remotely solid or decent, he never looked like stopping. Cotto was in no trouble. Even Floyd hurt Cotto in the 12th round more than Canelo ever hurt Cotto. Couldn't stop a corse Chavez. He might have stopped a few punching bags at 154 like Angulo but even then Angulo never looked like being knocked out as such. He was just a punching bag like Chavez.
Have to agree the notion of Canelo having power seems a bit concocted given he didn't stop any prime A lister he's been in with, or Cotto or JCC Jr.

Jacobs hit on the fly a lot whereas Canelo sits down on his punches, so Canelo might get more leverage at times. His uppercut is superb though and that's the one he could put some hurt on with as Golovkin's stance and guard make him susceptible to uppercuts, but given Golovkin knows all this, if he walks into a bunch of uppercuts then its his own fault.

Could happen, but would be mighty surprised if Canelo stopped Golovkin (if he couldn't stop a number of opponents who weren't iron chinned MWs, how is he going to stop one who is)

And canelo has not stopped fighters that box with him and won't engage... the ones that cone forward and try to exchange with him have all been stopped. He was the only fighter to ever ko tata Baldomir. Was long time ago and tata was old but he is still only one. Canelo has since gotten stronger, smarter, has more experience. Jacobs is trash
I've got to respectfully disagree here. Jacobs knocked out the previously undefeated and highly-regarded former middleweight champion Peter quillin and did so impressively. Jacob's has an 85% knockout ratio.
But for canelo Size means everything and at higher weights that are relevant to tomorrow's fight (155, 164) he couldn't hurt veterans that are past their primes in cotto and Chavez jr

Canelo looks good against guys who come straight at him and let him take a minute off each round.
And ggg doesn't come straight forward? Lol

Well we'll have to agree to disagree.

I can't see how. I'm not saying Canelo can't crack, far from it. I just think Jacobs is a much bigger and more powerful man than Canelo.

Well said, but do you think Jacobs stops cotto if cotto boxes all night with out engaging, or a jcc jr that has an iron chin? I doubt Jacobs stops either of those two as well. Assuming him and cotto were same weight and assuming him and jr met at 168

Cool, we shall disagree. Let me ask you this... if canelo stops ggg, will you then think he hits harder than Jacobs?
