He's terrible, no way will this go the distance. Smith should finish him in 4-5 rounds.

      That sucks.

The WBSS was a great idea but if it's not going to be televised in America then the success they could have had has been cut in half.

Can't leave out the U.S. boxing scene.

        Agree its sh^tty.

I think with how they decided to sell the series to TV networks made it a hard sell for American TV doe (both brackets instead of breaking it up into 2 brackets or even into 3 segments by round cuz asking any American TV channel to show 8 Saturdays in a row of boxing isn't doable for the money that likely would've been needed to secure the fights) & I suspect they knew this all along thats why so few Americas are in the tournament & why so few Americans seemed interested in the tournament despite there being some good 168lbers in the US.

None of them are big. I'd say Saunders v Monroe has had a bit more exposure. I honestly didn't know Smith was fighting until today.

Saying that, If Smith was fighting on a Hearn card on Sky, his fight would be much bigger but it's not and nobody seems to be aware of this super 8 tournament. It's had very little exposure here.
