Why are you taking that post so personally? He thinks Loma is overrated. There are posters that think ATG, 1st ballot hof’ers are over rated and you don’t have a problem with them.

I think Spence gets style points for the Garcia win. Everyone thought he'd win by steamrolling Garcia not by picking him apart with boxing. Not that Algieri and Peterson were prime or great but style points for them too. Sometimes you can only fight who's willing to fight you and in Spence's case he's been avoided by guys like Thurman. He's not Tank who's running from challenges and actively selecting smaller guys fight after fight with no intention to fight the other champions or elite guys.

The way I look at it is if you called a fight that was emphatically wrong then you have to own it and fess up and give the victor credit. Like that moron who claimed Loma wouldn't win a round. He went the childish route and still cries and gives no credit. I claimed Loma would win every round and make Rigo quit so I am entitled to say it was a good win based on the style (completely outclassed with skill and made him quit) but I could also say it ******. Same for Spence-Garcia but Spence's dominance and skill impressed me to were it's a good win but not great IMO.

If you called a fight wrong but your pick wasn't emphatic and the fight was close then fair enough you are entitled to keep your own opinion. I just have a problem with those making huge bold picks of dominance, possible coma etc; and then it's so dominant the other way and they still refuse credit. That's just lame and proof of not being rational or credible. It's childish and shows those people will only draw the conclusions they want from the sport so there's no sense watching.

This fight was always a mystery to me. I mean yes Rigo was small but he couldn’t do anything. I was really expecting a lot more from him. Rigo is/was one of the best boxers on the planet. Gold medals, hundreds of amateur wins, crazy good footwork and crisp punches. But he couldn’t get anything done!

You do the race thing come on man. Crawford is my favorite fighter by the way. Loma probably wouldn’t be in my top 10 all-time favorites though I admit I am a fan of his.

Loma lost a very close, debatable decision in his 2nd fight to a seasoned pro and multi-time world champion. Not a scrub really. There was controversy around the fight.

Better fighters than Lomachenko (or any active fighter really) have lost earlier career fights to lesser fighters than Salido. I can name them if you wish. Hopkins at age 24 lost to a complete nobody.

I’m not sure Rigo is his best win. I guess you have to say that because it proved you really ******. I like the Russell, Walters and Linares wins better. I think Loma has better wins than Crawford overall. Postol is probably the best I think that’s better than Rigo not sure it trumps all Loma’s though.

So would would a lot of people in Loma's resume. In fact Rocky already beat Salido and Loma went up to knock him out, do what Salido couldn't. That's an incorrect statement. Broner has won 4 titles, which is the same as Loma. Loma has also been the #1 in three divisions whereas Broner in just one and Loma beat the #1 fighter both times he moved up.

Regarding your other question. Your prediction didn't factor in weight and size you said it didn't matter so you have to own that woefully wrong prediction. I don't think your entitled to change your perception just because the call went the exact opposite way you said it would.

Would I give credit? Well, you know I picked Spence to beat up Mikey so I was entitled to crap on that win but I actually was impressed and gave credit. I'm not a bitter petty racist like some though I had that option to refuse credit. If someone dominated Loma and made him quit like Rigo I'd give them credit. I KNOW for 100% certain if Loma fought Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Porter in his next 4 fights and beat them all 12-0 you'd move the goalposts and cry further. It's in your posting history and character to do such a thing. You just need to view this thread to see that.
