No he doesn't have Crawford's home base, but he could be like Lomachenko.

Yeah, that's what I thought as well.
I had a feeling it was going to be announced for a big fight weekend aka the GGG-Canelo weekend.

Finally ! but this is all screwed up really - fight has come a year later than would've neen ideal and just 3 months ago Loma was saying he'd fight at 128 if that was what it took. Would have been a fairer matchup at 128.

This doesn't have to end too badly for Rigo. If he gets ko'd quickly and doesn't take too much damage then all those fighters now at 126 who ran from 122 may grow a set - Frampton-Rigo in Belfast or Quigg in Manchester could be nice earners for him.

And if he is seriously competitive he can come back to 126 and fight Russel - both beaten by Loma so that would be a somewhat attractive fight.

I see this a bit like Brook and Golovkin - Rigo gets some hits in for 2-3 rounds but then just gets bulldozed.

I feel like Loma should have talked with his team about what weight he could easily make, and offered a catch weight of 129, 128.

If he wins people will point out he had everything in his favor. A little bit of a catchweight and he could say i came down as low as i could and gave up some strength to make it fair.

          Overall though, amazing fight.

Okay, my prediction. These guys are super intelligent! Dont expect an exciting fight, just a great chess match. The reason is each guy will neutralize some of the other guy's strengths and both guys will have moments of frustration because they are not used to being neutralized. It will be hard to score and will be back and forth, not in a war manner but in each guy changing up to try something different to see if that works better. In the end, I expect a draw or a majority draw or majority decision with fans thinking each guy won. Do not kid yourself, this is not going to be Lom having his way all the time or blowing out Rigo. Rigo did not accomplish all his has with his kind of skills to be an easy fight for any fighter, period!

What is the MSG theater like as far as views? I've seen fights in theaters and often the views not good even with good floor seats.

I'm gonna trek over to NYC for this.

Bob Arum is gona catch a heart attack lol after Rigon schools another one of his next superstars

It will be good a fight, i dont see a stoppage in this fight, i think Rigon is old and small for Loma, i give the edge to Loma to win, but Rigon is one of the greats so i really hope he pulls the upset

Just think the size difference is a lil too much. Still pretty excited, hope Rigo surprises me and pulls it off.
