A lot has been made of the term "Mexican Style" in the build up to this weekend's Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin HBO pay-per-view showdown. Golovkin's trainer Abel Sanchez has said that his fighter, who holds the WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight titles, fights with a Mexican style and both Team Golovkin and Team Canelo have been bombarded with questions about the style and meaning behind it this weekend.

I totally agree, i really don't see him as the typical "Mexican style" sort of fighter. I think his game has evolved, he is now more relaxed in the right, he sees everything and he is more patient than before. He roll with punches more now than before, he goes to the body, he counters and he seem to have better speed. He just doesn't throw for the sake of throwing. The only negative is still his foot.......
