yeah i can see it being similar. canelo will have success, and a lot of it early on. after 4 or 5 rounds the 'ggg was exposed' threads will be in the process of being typed. But canelo will get broken down and busted up in the second half of the fight. If you are a hittable and flat footed fighter and you are in the ring against golovkin, you are in trouble.

canelo fought cotto to a 7-5 6-6 type of decision when he outweighs Cotto by 10-15 lbs and is younger by a decade.


if they were the same size and same age, Cotto wins that fight.



Cotto also has quicker feet than Canelo regardless which allows him to box off the backfoot better. Canelo is going to sustain some serious damage in this fight.
