He "suspects" so basically he is guessing. He wouldn't know what Jacob weighed, I don't get why GGG teams/fanatics seem to justifying his win over Jacobs. Fact is he beat Jacobs (Weigh or no weigh). He might not have stopped him but he scored a KD and beat him on my card.

He cannot KO everyone and just because he didn't KO Jacobs am hearing all these weigh excuses. Leave those excuses out and move on.

Its not excuses my friend its just boxing talk. Jacobs was huge, looked more like a light heavyweight to me. I personally cant recal a middleweight fight on this level with one of the fighters being so much bigger than the other. Even Bhop who was big never outweighted considerably any of his opponents. Jermain Taylor was perhaps considerably heavier than Kassim Ouma but Kassim was just coming up from 154 and still wasnt outweighted more than 10 -12 lbs

And? Why is his weight relevant? Did GGG lose? This is why am baffled with all this weight thing regarding Jacobs. GGG won so i don't understand all this "Jacobs was big" Are people saying GGG performance wasn't up to his normal standards because he didn't get the KO or what.

Because that is the definition of an excuse.

Its called deflection & its tards like this alt twat leonis bread & butter, why would they cry so much about speculative weight when their dumbass don't have a shred of proof. Jacobs looked the same size as ggg,hbo even revealed he's only 5'11" not 6' like ggg claims. These twats don't know anything about boxing,if they did they'd know gaining too much overnight makes u slow & lethargic,I believe jacobs when he says he weighed 176,he has chicken legs, probably why he goes down so easy.

Wouldn't that do massive harm? Wouldn't it make him slower, lethargic, and easier to beat?
Sometimes it makes them lethargic, but not always. It's so common nowadays for boxers to put on that much weight. Maybe not 23 lbs, but about 20, just a bit under it, and look normal.

            It's really crazy.

Granted: Gatti was probably a couple pounds over 141 and that was a disgrace by the NYSAC.

Flip Homansky was one of the guys who led the change to the day-before weigh-ins, and he prefers it go back to the same day.

Fact...golovkin does not have the p4p skill to deal with more weight, which is why he never moved up and stayed in a bum division his entire career.
You are right. He loses to multiple people in the WBSS super middleweight tournament right now. I totally agree with you.

back in the day, there were 8 divisions

the conditioned weight of two fighters could vary significantly

by more than an entire division in today's standards

NOTE: that is conditioned weight, NOT rehydration weight

these are the guys whom you are comparing modern fighters to

that was how business was done back in the day

we have 17 divisions today, so crying about - or even mentioning - rehydration weight..... is absurd

especially when defending so-called P4P fighters, jeez.....

it is absolutely impossible to ensure that any two fighters are exactly the same size..... fighters fit into a particular division, and they deal with that division.,.... but they certainly do not cry about it, so why are the fans?

                never heard such nonsense

we have 17 divisions today, and the same rules apply to everyone..... so, one guy will rehydrate a couple of pounds more than the other guy..... so fkn what?

Rigo just jumped TWO divisions, and you guys are still crying about a couple of pounds of rehydration weight on Danny Jacobs?

didn't hear any Ward fans crying about how big Kovalev was

if it only took a couple of pounds of rehydration weight to cause Golovkin so much grief, how the hell was he going to deal with Ward/Froch?

                give it a rest

Abel Sanchez and all the lil g apologists can't get their facts straight. So now he was outweighed by 12 pounds on fight night?? But I thought it was 15 pounds?? Or was it 20 pounds?? Or maybe 25?? This **** is like The Price is Right LOL.
