The fact arum openly called hennessy a amateur makes me believe he had nothing to do with that side of the deal.
I would hope DUCO is sharing details with him + taking advice from him. I mean I'm no Arum fan, but if you got him in your brain trust you ask his ass some questions & get some input with any guys you are connected with him via imo. Those DUCO mfers are more amateur hour than Hennessy (although in fairness this move might make that a arguable statement since its mostly Hennessy who'd made the bad decisions I am to assume).

Why the f#ck are they in a 21k seat venue any damn way? Is Hughie THAT much of a draw?
nah hes not a draw at all but the trouble is i dont think most of the public even know the fight is taking place, not being advertised on any channel that i know of. Im in the minority but i think its a good fight tbh, two undefeated heavyweights and i like these type of fights where we get to find out what a prospect is made of (hughie). I think eddie hearn could have got a good amount of interest in this fight in the UK, maybe get tyson pulling some stunt at the press conference or something.

Less than 3,000 tickets sold. Fight is only airing on Youtube. Is there anybody who can credibly claim the world recognizes this fight as being for the heavyweight championship of the world?

The sooner the boxing public decides to stop recognizing the WBO, the sooner we can regain some semblance of sanity in the title picture of each division. Three world titles was bad enough. Expanding to four made it so easy for fighters to avoid each other and hide behind a lesser title, not to mention making it so difficult to unify a division that hardly anybody even bothers to try.

The last few WBO "world heavyweight championship" fights are indisputable proof that the world does not consider the title on par with the original three world championships and we hope people begin to realize the damage that has been done to the sport by allowing the WBO to become recognized.

Wait this fight isn't being aired on BoxNation or anywhere else except Youtube PPV?

            Is this legit?

Late Calzaghe-style flurry by Screwy Hughie, followed by British ref stoppage.
