Yeah but they're only getting those purses with opponents being paid a few dozen K or less. If the fight does happen anytime soon it's going to be on ppv like the Rigo fight unless both or one of these guys grow their fanbases.

Well for Loma's bigger fights the combined purses have been around 1.3M. Just need to bump up the total purse by 50% & we got a million for both sides. But yea like I said you are for right at the moment, but I see upside to be gained with both guys still so a $2M+ combined purse fight seems a reasonable expectation at some future date. Likely just a matter of if Loma is at 130 long enough.

I think they are close to those purses already doe. I believe both have gotten into the 600k, 700k region (Loma mighta even had a 1M purse already iirc, but not 100% on that). And Tank is still nobody from nowhere with room to grow still & Loma should increase his popularity with ESPN viewers over the next year or so (although I do believe its a bad move & overall negative move for Loma's trajectory to put the Rigo fight on PPV).

So its not like its completely out of the realm of possibilities based on where they are at & where they are moving towards. Clearly you are right at the moment doe.

Episode2 of 24/7 ****** imo. It lacked the anticipation it usually delivers. Same **** with canelos bumass riding and making love to the horses. Aint nobody trying to see that ****

The reason why Loma and the kid from Baltimore will never fight. Both these dudes want a million plus per fight but the money aint there.

another reason is floyd wont let davis anywhere near lomachenko so they will never even get into the money. is davis some kind of huge star that im missing? hes not even headlining cards in the US so not sure how you can possibly calculate an undercard fighters drawing power. im sure he thinks hes a huge star but then why is he always fighting on undercards and traveling?

Those three fights deserved to be viewed by more for the sheer entertainment they provided. I feel sorry for Lampley still trying to inject some life before the show by being upbeat, but it is what it is...every new boxer must feel like Tony:

But yea lil guys don't tend to get the 7 digit paydays nor the big ratings & that all makes sense. There are outliers, but they are the exception not the rule.

And like I said these are the lil lil guys. Crawford is right next door to where people start really paying attention so 140 is like the HW division of lil guys.
