        Kirkland got a gift against Molina
        Kirkland was behind on points against Angulo.
        His biggest fight until the Ishida fight was Vera.
        Kirkland had a 15 month lay-off.
        "He's essentially out of the sport at this point".

        Kirkland had a bad shoulder as well..

        By way of Twitter, Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Journal broke the news that Saul Alvarez is again without an opponent for his Sept. 15 date, after James Kirkland injured his shoulder in training this morning...
