Boxing Scene has been informed that former two-time world title challenger Stephen Smith will fight Spain's Juli Giner for the vacant European Super Featherweight title later this year. Smith, brother to fellow fighters Paul, Callum and Liam, faced Jason Sosa and Jose Pedraza for the WBA and IBF world titles respectively in 2016, coming up short on both occasions.
