The guy has children. He shouldn't even consider killing himself and leaving them without a father. It's hard to feel sorry for a healthy young man who gets paid a million bucks or more for every fight. He is young, rich, healthy and he can fight so what's so terrible about his life that he wants to end it now?

Don't be so hard on him. What he did has to be dealt with and not let him off the hook. He has to learn. Its obvious that the guy has a mental illness. He needs to be punished and treated. Killing himself isn't a solution. Saying he should kill himself is cruel.

Poor Adrien Broner should be placed in an institution for the mentally challenged, before he kills himself or kills somebody else.

He's simple-minded and doesn't fully understand what he's doing sometimes.

That is a complete fallacy. Mental illness has nothing to do with a person's initial IQ. However it can cause major cognitive impairment.

I never said he's mentally ill - I don't believe that he is.

Broner is just simple-minded. He has the mind of a misbehaving little child, and combined with the physical urges of an adult, he can be dangerous.

I think he is mentally ill. Seriously. It could be depression or bipolar disorder but there is something wrong.

I would feel sorry for him but the guy defines wasted potential. If, as some suggested here, he is mentally unstable his boxing license should be revoked and he should go into therapy. I personally think he's not very bright and because of it he is filled with insecurities causing him to get attention in whatever way possible. If he can't get the attention in the ring, he looks for it outside of the ring. If therapy is not an option lock his a$$ up for awhile and give him time to reflect on the path he has taken in this life. He's not really providing a positive influence on society or on his kids for that matter.
