Haye and Khan are delusional attention whores who just can't accept they're not on that level and that nobody really cares or is interested in them anymore.
Haye blew all of the money. He finally got his financial footing back with the Bellew fight and clearly knows where he is coming off an achilles injury at his age. He's trying to run his mouth into one last big pay day against AJ. I'm seeing a lot of talk about Haye in his prime against AJ, but what about AJ in his prime? He's not even there yet. We're getting what looks like one of the best heavyweights we'll see in our lifetime from Joshua. Haye fought heavies much, MUCH past their prime, and when he got to Klitschko, he ran around all night. It's [Joshua] great for boxing across the pond, because Khan and Haye haven't backed up anything for years.
Look, Haye was a very good cruiser, And was doing Ok at HW until he simply ran into a better man and one of the best HWs ever outside the golden era.
To say he fought dirty against Ruiz is beyond moronic, and to bring up RJJ who's only reason for beating Ruiz was with every conceivable advantage and help from Jay Nady, is asinine..
Haye lost the fight to Bellew, sure that's 100% but to say a guy who's achilles was gone before the fight and completely ruptured during it "was dropping bombs" on Bellew is too much... If the guy who starched Chisora (Who Vitali couldn't KO) 'dropped bombs' on Tony, fight would have lasted the first 3 mins
Rewatch Haye vs Ruiz, he was smashing the back of his head all night.
Achilles, fake injury. Just like his fake toe injury. Quit sucking that dudes **** man. He's a poser.
Chisora was his 4th loss in 4 fights by the time he fought Haye. Fair to say there was accumulated damage there.
Good Cruiser? He got tossed by Carl Thompson and who did he really beat? Mormeck was shít and so was Maccarinelli. Cruiser is notoriously a dead division.
Haye's WBA title reign was a joke. He stunk the place out beating the plodding and overrated Valuev. He then beat John Ruiz (aka the best wrestler in boxing), then beat Fraudly Harrison in a complete farce and finally did absolute f*** all against Wlad and then blamed it on a broken little toe!! Keep dreaming Haye. You couldn't beat a fat blown up cruiserweight last time so what make you think you can hang with AJ?!
At least he didn't get knocked down by an aging wlad
2. The "1000 year old Holyfield", who definitely should have got the dec over Valuev, did not do better than Haye, who, if the judges were any good, should have shut out Valuev.
3. Yea you're right, he probably cant make it thru a full training camp
Haye was not very good. he had a fast powerful right hand and some mobility, that's it.
Combination punching was awful. Defensive reflexes were not that good, he was always being hit with jabs, even old slow Ruiz. only time he was good defensively was when he solely concentrated on that and did little on offense.
Chinny and lousy wind. Beat weak opposition and talked his way into a title show with wald and fought like a scared coward.
