  • A boxers punch vs an MMA fighters. Who throws harder and who can take a punch better

Since MMA call us boxers one dimensional then how is that they cant beat us if they are multi talented in all the arts of fighting. Not calling boxers real fighters. Quick challeng... anyone please show me McGregor hitting a speed bag or jump roping... he said he started as a boxer...that he has 26 am's fight that he certainly can't prove..... anyone please provide a link...lol

The way Mc Gregor was punching any hard hitting Feather weight would have more pop than him and Mc Gregor is considered a KO puncher in the MMA world which is laughable to the boxing world

MMA fighters have great power. The difference is speed and accuracy. Boxers throw quick direct punches and they generate a ton of power, whereas MMA fighters need to swing wildly to accomplish this.

We already saw the UFC's hardest 155 pound puncher fight a 30 year old 147 pound retired champion known to be a light hitter. It was clear when the fight was over that Mayweather punched quite a bit harder than Conor and also took punches better. Put Conor in with a young, prime boxing champion his same weight like GGG or Canelo and the difference in punching power and ability to take a punch would be so wide apart as to be ridiculous. When it comes to punching power and chin the best pro boxers beat the best MMA guys their weight by a mile. That's why they are champion boxers making many times more money per fight than the best UFC fighters make.

Sorry. I put Mayweather's age down as 30 but of course he is 40 years old.

Boxing for both. mma has to have more all around and they have less time to master one thing.

Even so, I was surprised by how awful Conor's punching technique was against Floyd.

It would have been awesome for boxing if Connor fought GGG instead 😂

I can imagine GGG letting mcgregor hit him flush like he did Monroe and Wade and then proceeded to break him and KO him, would be awesome to watch.
