I wish he didn't fight Bellew in Mar '17 and fought Parker for the vacant WBO in December '16. He gave up his no.1 ranking to cash in with Bellew and now he has to clear up that mess. So no heavyweight title or chance of a Joshua fight for a while. Unless he somehow gets the winner of Fury/Parker in Mar '18 and gets that WBO title it's the only viable way to chase. Joshua by which time he'll be turning 38 in Oct '18 so all this messing about with Bellew has messed up his timeline. I thought he could do it at 35/36 but taking on Joshua at 38 years old, probably too much for him. Oh well at least he made a few million with Bellew anyway but I do hope he gets the Parker/Fury winner cuz I always wanted him to unify the heavyweight titles but thus far he does not seem that interested otherwise why not fight for vacant title in Dec '16 then Joshua fight is guaranteed.
Was he injured in December? Or was he just unlucky with the injury with Bellew, I hope he's not injury prone and can actually get a run of fights, one of the most exciting cruisers ever please don't go out with a wimper David.
    Here's the route
    1) **** out Bellew Dec '17
2)Annex WBO title from Parker/Fury winner Mar '18
3)Spend the rest of the time calling out Joshua maybe Aug'18

Haye can't even beat a decent non-HW fighter without injuring himself. Unless Joshua just hands him a title shot I don't even believe Haye is capable of earning a shot unless he gets a super soft mandatory eliminator fight.

David knows in his heart of hearts that he doesn't stand a chance in hell against AJ. He just wants that big McGregor paycheck. Thing is AJ wouldn't carry him like Floyd did Conor. That **** would do big numbers too even though almost every Brit would agree.

This is it in a nutshell. Haye was a great cruiser-weight, but when he went HW he was 217 for Valuev, and back to 210 for Wlad. He was a small CW who didn't add weight easily for heavy.

He went in against Wlad at his optimum weight (210) for obvious reasons of trying to keep his athleticism and speed at the max. Anything north of 210 and he's paying a price.

Over his optimum weight, then add in age, injuries and inactivity, and he's a shell now. He looked like aged HW version of Darchinyan vs Bellew, and wouldn't look any better against Joshua. Joshua would crush him. Let it go David, your journey in boxing is done.

Haye just wants a big payday but he knows he will get knocked out and wake up in the feudal system or the stone age somewhere. His days are long gone and his technic is so terrible now. His windmill shots will not help him and he will be lucky to finish the 2nd round alive.

Remember Haye didn't get knocked on his a$$ by wlad like AJ did.

Starting to look and sound like a pint-sized Audley Harrison.

Rarely have I seen a fighter that looked so shot. Maybe Katsidis when he fought Tommy Coyle. David Haye - you are finished my son.

heavyweight boxing's answer to Amir Khan. He looked terrible v Bellew, timing was off, basic boxing skills were average to say the least. On that performance he has no chance.
