Had RJJ Commentated Rungvisai vs Choco - We Would've Heard WHY Choco Lost

What I mean is. I watch this bout for the third time, and I'll say the Thai smashed Choco's body ala Chino Maidana. I'm wondering if it's the reason why Choco's workrate was halted due to the pain on the torso, timid...

Cause Roy will let us know when fighters are hurt by certain punches. Ironically, Ward didn't say much about it even though he smashed Kova's body.

Anybody else feel Choco's lower body was smashed?

Ward was too busy talking about himself, and getting his joint blown by Max and Jim.

Cholo looked soft to the body in that fight, he looked like he put on too much weight but baby fat. Wong hurt him several times apart from the KD and to be honest Wong looked like a newbie Pacman out there.

chocolatito was a shot fighter. no idea how you couldn't see that. he'd been getting close to losing [last fight was a poor decision, but he was not walking away with it,]f or a while now, and he's clearly been on the sldie. had his cheek broken a few fights back, had a war with cuadras that takes something out of a fighter that he doens't get back, and he'd been in hard fights wth a style that lended itself to taking punches for over a decade.

small fighters peak early. all fighters peak early, actually! in teh current era of 4 belts and where it's unrecognizable who the real champion is to a casual fan fighters are matched to protect an undefeated record. chocolatito was matched like a small guy [short term money making because of how early they peak,] he was just good enough to stay undefeated for a long, long time. but he didn't go without taking punishment.

if you watched his career in his pimre you'd know that. but of course the hHBO you all seem to hate didn't cover his fights at the time, so you legit had no idea who he was when he was at his peak and one of the best pound for pound fighters in boxing.

agreed. ward was pretty fooking useless, too concerned with having a faceoff with the camera. Roy would've been much better.

Nothing new by HBO's team especially Kellerman. They seem to like to talk about everything but what is actually happening inside the ring whether the fight is a total mismatch or very competitive. For example, in the Cuadras fight, Kellerman was talking about how/if Chocolatito compares to Arguello instead of talking about how Cuadras was actually putting work on Gonzalez.
Say what you want about Paulie but him and the Showtime team do focus on what's happening inside the ring and they do explain what is unfolding from a technical point of view.

HBO better have RJJ back for Canelo-GGG.

He is the best Boxing commentor in Boxing when it comes to telling the audience what the boxers are doing and why they are winning or losing.

He may not come across as composed as Ward but he has far more personality and knowledge and is much better.

True. Max and Jim missed a lot of punches being exchanged in all of the fights because they were too busy talking about other nonsense.

I like Bernstein from the Showtime crew, but prior to the May/Mac fight that's all they talked about during other matches. Paulie isn't bad as a commentator, but he goes off on tangents as well. He still has Floyd's **** on his breath the way Max likes to deepthroat Ward.

Max seems to like to go on "historical tangents" alot to show off his deep knowledge of boxing's history.
Did you notice how Max and Jim almost made a complete 180 on Gonzalez real quick after the KO: they went from P4P talk to "time to retire", "was 115lbs to too big for him" (I do actually think so). I feel like Showtime does a better job (for the most part) "hiding" in their commentary who is the Showtime fighter unlike HBO.
