Comments Thread For: Estrada Confident His 'Complete Style' Will Beat Sor Rungvasai

Juan Francisco Estrada lost a decision to Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, who was brutally knocked out by Srisaket Sor Rungvisai on Saturday night. Estrada reminded boxing fans after his own victory on the Sor Rungvisai-Gonzalez undercard those results mean nothing when it comes to his upcoming fight against Sor Rungvisai. By edging Carlos Cuadras in a competitive, compelling 12-round elimination match, Estrada earned a mandatory shot at Sor Rungvisai, presumably in the powerful southpaw's next fight.

This fight has FOTY all over it....I'm wondering is Rungvisai headed to Mexico AGAIN? Zanfer promotions can beat the purse bid, but wouldn't it be funny to see 'La Gallina' Estrada forced to fight in Thailand?! BWAHAHAHA!!! nah I think Zanfer wins the bid and Rung better come in beast mode we know what happened with him and Cuadras.

Rungvisai has got to be the A-side for that one, so I suspect he'll be willing to go to Mexico. He strikes me as a guy who's up to prove a point.

They have to put Inoue vs Cuadras on the undercard to make this complete.

I agree, Estrada has the tools/skills to outbox, outpoint that brute, just dont go to a war with him...

The way I see it is that Rugvisain has no option or saying of where he will defend his belt, Mexicans have the power and money to make the fight in Mexico and as Cuadras did, Estrada will take Rugvisais championship and on September I truly wish the Super rematch fight between Estrada vs Gonzalez at a sold out Forum..

I'd be excited to see that fight. Estrada has improved since he fought Chocolatito, and Roman's strategy against Rungvisai was not a good one. Hope Gallo can stand the pressure better.

Rungvisai is not just a brute. He's like a machine, methodically breaks you down and puts you under very intense pressure. Before Roman-Sor 1, Cuadras said that was a very tough, intense fight. And that's exactly how it played out.

I can understand your thought but to be a bigger fight, both Inoue and Rungavsi need to beat a known Mexican. Neither would get as much credit beating each other. If Inoue and Rungavasi beat estrada and cuadras, theyd be able to headline a card on its own, Inoue vs Rungavsi next would need some major promotion and good ass undercard to sell especially in the USA. They could fight in Japan but it would be for peanuts.

The fight will be in U.S.A probably... Cuadras won 4 or 5 rounds till the headbutt that open a great, great cut over the eye of Carlos.

Then, Cuadras and his team wanted the rematch but the promotion of the thai was not in the place to negotiate the rematch.

I said you that Choco-Mierda was a hype job, Im your daddy in this.

                    My balls.

Estrada is the #1 mandatory and he beat an elite of the weight, not ****ing Nieves or something like that.

Sor vs Estrada is the better fight.

Inoue needs fight vs the IBF champ. Inoue is a great fighter but he is fighting with bums for years.
