GGG is more elusive then Canelo but Canelo hits harder

This boxer who sparred both Canelo(3/4 years ago) and GGG(2 years ago) said some intersting things abaout both.

He says Canelo hits harder with it being one punch power where i know most think its GGG, but he did say GGG has more consistent power.

But he said GGG was more elusive and makes you think a lot more and his boxing iq is very high where some would argue that's Canelos advantage.

Interesting, most have it the other way around. Canelo is better than he was 3-4 years ago though.

The moment of truth is near.

Anyone who thinks that clearly DKSAB. Golovkin has always had the clear ring IQ advantage, he is a wizard in the ring.

I don't know how Canelo is regarded to have higher ring IQ and more defense and elusive style. Canelo is not as efficient as Golovkin and as a counter puncher-- he's pretty much out of position when countering. As Teddy Atlas pointed out, in a defensive state Canelo does make a lot of critical errors that would put him flat on his back.

GGG is not off balance either in defensive or offensive mode as much as Canelo.

Explanation. Fighters don't do all out in sparring. As far as I know it's common knowledge that unless your an arsehole fighters don't go full power on a lesser guy. I sparred with Danny Williams when I was a teen, but I don't kid myself on knowing how hard he actually hits.

not really a shock, the guy was olympic silver medalist and world amateur champ. only on nsb have they tried to twist him into being some crude power puncher with limited skills. people are gonna get a serious surprise next saturday.
