51-0-1 is not the same as 51-0-0-0 and Chavez ended up being 107-6-2.

And Chavez fought an 0-0 guy in his 40th fight, so what? They all count the same whether it's in the first of 50th fight.

26 champions fought is more impressive.

It's not but the draw should've been a win and was to a guy he beat the next fight so it's really not that different. If Menayothin beats 25+ world champs across 5 weight classes then you can put him in the same sentence as Floyd. The record itself isn't a big deal as lots of Thai fighters have jaw-dropping records. You're trying to discredit Floyd by using the record but he said himself that the record isn't a big deal to him. Having 2 close fights out of 50 against 26 world champions and dominating both guys in the immediate rematches is a lot more impressive than the 50-0 record is. Plenty of guys got to 50-0 or very close, it's the other stuff.

This is the single greatest achievement in boxing history IMO. 30+ quality fights and 26 champions and you only had 2 close fights which you immediately re-matched and won more decisively. That's never ever been approached in boxing history.

It's something that I don't think will ever be equaled not in my lifetime anyway maybe in 100 years, across 5 weight divisions as well. TBE is going through the same thing Ali went through. In 10-20 years i've got no doubt people will look back on his career a lot more fondly than they do now. Ali was hated just as much as Floyd then after he retired everyone took a liking to him and started calling him the greatest. Expect the exact same to happen to Money Mayweather. Already a lot of people have dramatically changed their opinion of him and plenty of them consider him the GOAT. With every year he's retired more and more people will.

In the lighter weight classes 50-0 is remarkable but not unprecedented. I don't see whether a fighter retires after they reach it or whether they keep fighting and end up losing. Does it even matter if they have a lose before the streak starts. There are a lot of good fighters with zero amature experience that lose early in their careers because they learn in the pro game.

As others already said you can't compare all these mediocre boxers that Menayothin has fought vs the oposition that Floyd had.

If you look at his career it seems like the one of the champion of his village.
