I get his premise, but I didn't see anything about fighters' activity level...guys need to stay busy.

Furthermore, in a competitive market (not to mention competing programming) isn't overlap in scheduling inevitable? He's basically asking for a governing body to dictate market conditions to maximize returns for participants/promoters as a whole, but unfortunately for him that's not how game theory works. In this case, if he gets what he's asking for, it'd be more beneficial for him, but would result in some lost value to the market leader (which I assume is Hearn).
