That's exactly what smart people are saying. Choco was protected the majority of his fights. He arguably didn't decisively beat Cuadras who arguably didn't decisively beat Rungvisai.
Choco's rise parallels Gamboa's rise in a lot of ways. One-dimensional and got to a point because he was facing other one-dimensional fighters who were easy work. When he came across a guy with multiple aspects and adjustments, he crumbled. That's what happened here.
Choco's not over the hill nor is he "old" - maybe for a SFW but not in general. Reality is that he was never taught how to make adjustments when you come across a fighter where your core strategy isn't working. When the going gets tough he resorts to just throwing because that worked for him. This night, he got caught mid throw both times. That's a sign of piss poor defense.Comment

This is what happens when people like Gonzalez himself believe the bull**** of not only hbo but almost all sports media outlets such as this website. They told him he beat Cuadras which he did not, they told him he beat Rungvisai which he did not so here goes in again against a guy that already outgunned him once. This is actually the 3rd fight in a row he loses but he went in erroneously thinking he was the best...but this time Rungvisai left no room for bull****!Comment
