The divisions best in the main event, with the number 1 contender as the chief support, and some other beastly prospect on the undercard.

For the first night in a long time, the small weight fighters lit it up on the big stage.

I know that people's main reaction to this event was to kick Gonzales.

But I think you are right. This was a very entertaining night of boxing. My take away from he main event wasn't about how Gonzales was over-rated, it was that the fight made for very watchable boxing. It was about how the little guys can put on a damn fine show.

Yea I thought it was a good night for HBO. I didn't like the Monster fight doe. I thought they coulda & shoulda put him in tougher. But overall that almost seems like nitpicking when 4 of the best guys in a division were fighting each other with a 5th on the card to.
