had golovkin up by a couple of points and i think i was generous to jacobs in one of the rounds, have no idea how anyone scored that for jacobs and the stats back that up. it seems as if you do better than expected you deserve the decision in fans eyes. theres also a hell of a lot of people on here who would score any round that wasnt completely one sided to golovkins opponent.

yeah DJ never had GGG hurt ever. he had some flash combos where most would be blocked or not land clean effective or hard. thing is GGG took lot of the rounds off for some reason? Either he is really getting old or was really holding back to land the Canelo fight. Can't really say I guess we'll find out Saturday.

When I first watched GGGvsJacobs i thought whoa Jacobs is doing much better than most envisioned and when it went to the score cards I was like WTF? GGG might lose this.

I enjoyed the fight live didn't actually score it, but it was close and a draw would have been fair. i saw lot of cats felt DJ should have won. So I re-watched it and scored it round by round.

I got 114 to 113 for Jacobs. Now there were about 3, definitely 2 rounds where nothing really happened neither of them landed anything really big or clean. I found myself giving those rounds to DJ just for the sake of the controversy and thats pretty much how I came up with the 114 to 113 card.

Usually traditionally close rounds should go to the champion, i also agree with that, so normally i'd give those 2 or 3 close rounds to GGG, but almost as an experiment I gave them to DJ and came out with 114 to 113 for DJ.

Was it a big robbery gift no not at all. 114 to 113 for either fighter would have been fine. or a draw.

I'd personally like GGG to grab the final belt from the BJS vs Monroe winner and then rematch DJ.

Should he beat Canelo, BJS/Monroe winner, and DJ rematch then I think that puts him at 20 defenses right? Tieing Hopkins right?

So I'd like him to break that record and then retire or go up and end it with a big Ward fight or something.

I think Ward beats him unfortunately for being too big and too skilled and fast.

If what GGG says is true and he held back against DJ to land the Canelo fight, then that makes the rematch even more legit.

116-111, 8-4 for Golovkin. Could have been 115-112 but I gave Golovkin the first.

I thought Jacobs won the fight outright. I wouldn't have mind a close score in favor of Jacobs because of the KD.

You know how I know Jacobs won the fight. The usually biased HBO crew had it coming down to the 12th round. They were setting the stage for an inevitable Jacobs win but also hoping for a close Golovkin win. If they thought Golovkin was winning the fight Lederman would have him in a run away victory on his score card.

Yeah the HBO crew sounded a bit nervous going into the 12th as if to say damn we messing up the big Canelo fight for our network LOL.

The HBO crew doesn't always agree with Harold and they don't even agree with each other sometimes (Max, and Jim, Roy, ) so your theory doesn't really hold that much weight bro. But love the avi pic, i used to smash a Guatemalan chick who looked like her, she was damn good in bed, but a total coke head lol. always doing lines.

I didn't score the fight, it could've gone either way. The knockdown was a push off balance thing though, that wasn't a knockdown in my opinion.

yeah so just out of like pure curiosity or whatever i gave those to DJ just to see what my score card would look like thats how I got the 114 to 113.

Thing is I usually go with the champion on close rounds because I do believe you give close rounds to the champion since the challenger needs to really win that belt. So normally i'd give those 2 to GGG. so my normal self would have GGG up by those 2 rounds.
