    First Kovalev, now Chocalatito

I find it really interesting. 2 former champs who were known for their aggressive style and punching power loses twice to the same guy whom many thought they won the first fight but end up getting stopped in the rematch.

Will the same fate happen to Golovkin when he fights Canelo???

What? He'll get robbed on the cards and then legit lose the rematch?

It's quite possible I suppose. Whichever way you cut it Canelo's still growing towards his peak while Golovkin's started on the slow road to decline. If it is in any way close I'd expect Canelo to do better in a second outing.

The reasons for the losses are vastly different.

I've personally always felt Golovkin is a level above Kovalev at least. I actually felt Kovalev won the first Ward fight but Kovalev has still always shown an element of vulnerability and looked more beatable if you followed him for a while. GGG has never looked that beatable. Jacobs might have had a moral victory by going 12 but in reality he won about 4/5 rounds and got dropped. Other than that and a few rounds here and there in other fights, GGG has pretty much always been in control.

Gonzalez was just on the slide and ran into the wrong guy at the wrong time. I felt he lost the first match anyway and thought he would get stopped last night, which he did. He wasn't exposed or anything, he's just on the slide, fighting at 112 and met a guy that had his number, it happens.

Whatever happened to those two is irrelevant when it comes to Golovkin anyway.

So who are the Pascal, Bhop, Chilemba equivalents to Gennady?

Who's the Lemieux from Kova's resume? Who's the Jacobs from Kovalev's camp? Jacobs is a high caliber and fresh fresh fighter compared to what Kovalev had. We could on agree on several points. but even if you combine the competition of Kova and GGG combined, Nelo's is more respected. As of now, Jacobs, Nelo, and Charlo are legit threats to GGG. GGG didn't look spectacular one bit against Jacobs, and the whole forum made fun of Jacobs' chin....

                    Who's comparing the resume's?

I'll be the first to say GGG doesn't have the strongest resume, but all that will be put to bed when he shows he's a level above Canelo next week.
