Not impressed with these lower weight classes

Gonzales was touted as P4P #1 in boxing just a year ago by many, even being ranked ahead of SOG.

Can someone explain to me how a guy ranked by most in the top 5 in all of boxing loses to a guy that had previously fought 3x guys making their pro debuts? A guy with a record full of journeymen?

Perhaps these weight classes and fighters aren't as "skilled" or as great as people make them up to be. What does it say about these lower weight classes when a guy like Chocalatito loses to a guy like this, or Broner becoming a 4 division champ, or guys like Rigo getting dropped by nobodies, etc.?

I think they definitely do produce talented guys but the divisions aren't nearly as great as they should be because guys are ALWAYS moving up in weight, there is a lack of stability. I also think jumping weight classes in these lower divisions doesn't have nearly as much value or difficulty as doing it in these higher weights.

    Gonzales was overhyped so bad...

    But is a good fighter.

Estrada, Sor Rungvisai, Cuadras and Inoue are beast...

In this weight is a lot of talent.
