Max Kellerman is a lot of things. A psuedo intellectual, a big mouth, a blo-hard, but one thing he is not is a boxing historian.
Bert Sugar, Larry Merchant are the definition of boxing historians. They have/had written numerous books and articles over the yrs. Larry Merchant, I know many do not like him, but he is a boxing historian. Bert Sugar when alive was a boxing historian. Each being boxing journalists. Max Kellerman is not a boxing journalist. He has never written an article or a book on boxing or on anything for that matter. Max Kellerman talks and talks, but never has written anything. He is just a radio guy and sometimes tv sports personality. He is no boxing historian or expert!
