I'm so happy for Estrada. I hate to say it but, he's not the same fighter. Maybe it's the weight class, the inactivity, the rust, maybe it's all three. But he wasn't as busy, wasn't as light on his feet, struggled to pull the trigger at times and other times couldn't pull it at all. Was disheartening to see. But he's still so damn good, that he had enough to beat a damn good fighter in Cuadras. I'm hoping we see a better Estrada next time out because before the injury, he was becoming a special fighter.Comment

I can tell Estrada has a larger Mexican/Hispanic following than Cuadras from this thread but I agree with you....Cuadras did enough good work to edge it out. Had his stamina been a little better, he would have owned Estrada pretty much all night.Comment

dude, rewatch and dont fall into narratives.....Cuadras is skilled and active so Estrada with his patient style wasn;t looking much, but he was landing all the effective shots, blocking and rolling....and how effective where those bodyshots when they didnt deterr Estrada from doing anything? it was close because Estrada doesn't fight to trick anyone to eek out points, just doing his own fight, he was just comfortable as hell from the beginning. Just see Cuadras' face after 6, he knew he couldn't do anything but hope to eek out a con job. Estrada will lose on points because of that mentality some times, but he is just better than Cuadras clearly.Comment
