    Sr. slanging the streets... was the king of the hood too. I'd say his hood game was the sacrifice to focus all his mistakes towards Floyd Jr. Was worth it. Had Sr. been more focused professional, we may have never had Floyd Jr. So I'd say for Grand Rapids standards, not too shabby

      Sr learned in the training camps of a very knowledgeable 70-year-old trainer from Detroit.

      Probably wasted too much energy on drugs and the street life, though.

        He definitely possesses some old school boxing knowledge that isn't around much anymore. That's why even someone like De La Hoya, who has had many world class trainers, praises him so highly.
