He dropped the belts as soon as he moved up btw. But yes, they are massively underpaid compared to the guys in the bigger divisions.i believe that's one of the primary reasons behind HBO focusing so much on the lower weights. They get quality fights for cheap.

Yep. But this is Roman's second card he's headlined that has sold out in California. You got a guy selling 3k seat auditoriums getting a million a fight but Roman is doubling that and getting better TV ratings but people complain when he asked for a million a piece for him and Estrada for their rematch.
