Nothing to do with race or colour
A lot of those Benevidez punches were hitting the glove
He was lucky Gavril does not have a little more power cause he would of been dropped a few more times between all those body punches
You say Benevidez could hurt him anytime , funny how he's the one who got dropped
Don't worry the kids only twenty , lots of time to mature
That was nothing but an off balance flash KD, the only one that was hurt was gavril.
And those punches were more than just "hitting gloves " look at gavrils face he got fuucked up.
Benavidez easly won that fight i just find it amusing how ppl are giving gavril points for doing better than expected yet still getting his ass beatComment

Congratulations DAVID "El Bandera Roja" BENAVIDEZ on making history , by becoming the youngest Super Middleweight World Champion ever , by obtaining the very prestigious WBC World Title Belt tonight, at only 20 years of age.
Wow very impressive. You don't see this every day. It's a great accomplishment.Comment

What a ***ing fight!!!
That was FOTY candidate!
Much respect to Gavril for not laying down and really coming to win!
He showed an amazing chin, resilience and heart!
Benavidez is gonna be a star, the kid is only 20 and he just gained great great experience in this fight which will help him in the tournament!
The thing with him is he gets a bit too ****y but it's ok to have some showmanship. But like someone else said, if Gavril had just a bit more power all that showboating could've came back on him HARD!
The kid has solid power and hasn't even grown into a grown man strength yet and likely is still growing!
He has combos, throws quick, solid power, good chin, and has great potential to get better!
Definitely a fan of this kid!
Great great fight!Comment

I had it 6rds each and that was giving Benavidez all the early rds but with the KD, Gavril would have won 114-113 on my scorecard.
Think my Scorecard was Benavidez winning 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 11 and Gavril winning 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12(KD)
Gavril really took over the second half of the fight and his punches were more accurate especially the Body Punching. Benavidez had some good moments in the rds I gave to Gavril but not enough to win him the rds. Gavril was simply the more active fighter and fought the full 3 minutes of every rd.Comment

He gave the first and fifth to Love even though he did nothing. That along with the other rounds that Love won. Kept arguing a case that Love wasn't throwing anything but it was Han's fault for not taking the advantage even though he was rushing forward actually throwing punches.Comment
