A light heavyweight showdown between Adonis Stevenson and Eleider Alvarez is in serious negotiations, according to their mutual promoter Yvon Michel of GYM. Alvarez has been the mandatory challenger, for nearly two years, for Stevenson's WBC light heavyweight title. The only thing left to do is to find a date that works for American television. The fight is going to take place in Quebec, says Michel.

Stevenson been avoiding Alvarez for a long time to take easier fights, but now that bigger sharks like Jack and Ward are hunting him he's serious about getting Alvarez in the ring lol

I was really impressed with Alvarez. If he would beat Stevenson I'd love to see him get a crack at Ward but that won't happen. I know Stevenson will probably never fight Ward.

I think the 175lbs division actually has some interesting fights if they can get made.
