The BELTS were 160...Won at catchweights? Of course! We're talking Cotto and Canelo! And yet here you are actually defending their actions...
This is boxing, not Hollywood...I could care less who is considered a "superstar" and who isn't...when it comes to boxing, I follow THE ACTUAL SPORT, not "da bling", "da crib" or the entourage TMZ style bull s h i t...what their purses, percentage of PPV cuts or whatever does not affect me in any way, shape or form as I do not get a % of anything they make!...If what they do makes them rich, then more power to them.....
Why should the ACTUAL WORLD CHAMPION of the division make any concessions as far as weight? As far as Canelo "not having to", that's just an opinion, so it depends on who you ask....Please feel free to tell me your thoughts on Canelo when he invited GGG up on stage the first time in a post fight interview, mouthed off by saying he would put his gloves back on and fight him right then and there, said Mexicans were not into "mamadas" and then, once the cameras were off (so to speak), proceeded to dump the belt so he would not be obligated to face his mandatory, GENNADY...who was THAT favor for?Comment

No. GGG is a VERY small MW who could make lightweight while Canelo is 6' 4" and walks around 215 lbs. But some reason make 154 on a CALIBRATED scale for Liam.
Every pic I've seen during the tour GGG was much bigger doe.
Ohh and since last year GGG got SUPER old. Oscar and Canelo planned this year's ago. They said September 2017 GGG WILL POOF turn 55. And even though the fight was made BEFORE Jacobs they traveled to the future saw him look ok and then traveled back.Comment
