Morales all the way. Wouldn't even be close.
Leo Santa Cruz vs Erik Morales at 126....

Morales is a few levels above Santa Cruz.
Who is Santa Cruz's best win? Frampton? and he's 1-1 with Frampton too. Frampton is good but still, him and Santa Cruz are not in the same league as Morales was, no shame in that though.Comment

Erik actually had power at that weight, LSC throws 1000 punches a fight that don't have any power behind them unless he's fighting cab divers. Morales walks through this kid IMO.Comment

Do you think Leo has enough Talent to beat Morales at 126? At 126 Morales was an accumulative puncher, known to walk guys down and was good at actually cutting off the ring. Though somewhat stopped in his tracks against guys who doesn't hesitate to counter his punches ala Barrera I-II and Pac III.
Thank you.Comment

The difference between a 'good' or 'elite' champion and a Hall of Famer.
I always classify world champions into 3 categories - weak champion, good champion, elite champion, and after that you have HOF'er and then ATG.
Sometimes fighters fall into a grey area between classification - for instance I think Leo you could argue is an elite champion, I think that is fair considering he's beat other world champions and a fringe p4p guy in Frampton, he also showed some versatility in that fight which showed he has layers, I was impressed.
Morales is a first ballot HOF'er 122-130 he was a monster. At Featherweight probably an ATG. He could punch, brawl and box at an elite level. I think he would probably stop Leo late or win a UD. Either way expect Leo to hit the canvas at least once in the fight.Comment
