If Kovalev vs. Stevenson happens in 2018 who wins?

Let's say for arguments sake that somehow Kovalev vs. Stevenson happens in the early part of next year. Who do you have winning at this point? Does the 2 losses to Ward affect your decision at all?

I think Stevenson will fight Eleider Alavrez next, as for a fight against Kovalev, I would back Adonis but I'm usually terrible at making predictions...

At this point kovalev's confidence is shot. Ward rocked him bad, and he's not a puncher. That being said, whoever lands first likely goes out, but I believe kovalev just doesn't have confidence anymore imo.

It's interesting how if you'd ask this same question before each of their last fights you may have a totally different answer. If you were to go back to before Stevenson destroyed Fonfara in their rematch, and to after the first Ward/Kovalev fight where it seemed Sergey had a strong case for having won the fight, one may very well pick Sergey to beat Stevenson. I probably would've. Now I'd probably lean toward Stevenson. It crazy how one fight can change things like that.
