Who was better GGG or Vic Darchinyan?

        I was a big fan of Vic. He was exciting to watch, and he wanted to fight the best, all the time. I think that boxing, as a sport, would be more popular if there were more Darchinyans in the mix.

        He also sometimes gets written off as not being very good. But he had some very solid wins before he started losing. He was the first guy to unify the Super Flyweight division. He also was - people like to deny this - a very good technical boxer. He had a great amateur career.

        He was very, very frustrating though. He abandoned all finesse, threw his skillset out the window, and fought in a way that was silly - going for the knockout all the time.

        It is hard to compare him to GGG. They both have KO power, but there isn't much else that is similar about them. I think GGG is much smarter, much more disciplined, and has a better chin.

        At this stage, Vic has the better wins and the worse losses. We can compare them a bit better when GGG retires.
