If you disregard the people saying its a mismatch, which it clearly isnt, seems the rest are split 50/50, which it is. Im siding with Lubin for the record
Lubin has a good chance but it depends on Charlo honestly he can be outboxed (thats been proven)but i think if Charlo fully go all out he can win. I think in some fights it takes him to much time to find his rhythm with tricky opponents.
Lubin has the reach but Charlo has the Man strength. Pretty good fight but I'm leaning towards Charlo. A 27yo man will have more firepower than a 21yo.
I think people see Lubin as more of an unknown more than predicting him to lose. This is a big jump up in glass for Lubin so thinking he wins requires a leap of faith that few have seen cuz most don't think much of what any guy with a Lubin-like record have proven.
Hell I straight up picked against Tank & Ryan Burnett in their first title fights & now they've both made me a believer in them. Lubin could easily be the next guy like that, but the smart money is betting against that cuz the guy with the poor resume for a guy fighting in his first elite level fight usually does lose.
What I feel about Lubin that makes me lean his way is that I believe he actually has more in his arsenal than Charlo. I think that he is all around more well rounded and a better overall fighter.
Lubin strikes me as a guy (from what I've seen) who hasn't shown all of his abilities yet, and it will take a fighter of Charlo's caliber to bring them out and show people what he REALLY has in store. I feel like he has more to offer than what most people think, and he will surprise everyone including Charlo on fight night.
On the other hand Charlo does have experience, length, and more man-strength on his side. Lubin is also very very young and some would say a bit green. But I still think Lubin will beat him.
