Where does GGG land, P4P, if he beats Canelo?

It's not realistic To say canelo beats him we know he can't hurt him and Floyd and Lara already exposed him for not being slick.

I can't believe a boxer who brings more than 90% of profit to GBP can lose a fight against ****ing Golovkin. Like I've said in another thread I'm from less civilized and more poor part of the world, I can't ignore the money aspect. If Canelo won't get laid to rest on the canvas, it's gonna be a close competitive fight where the ginger boy gonna win UD. Golovkin is supposed to be sacrificed for Canelo's career. Not trying to disrespect Golovkin or his fans, it's just the way I see it
If Golovkin wins though, Canelo would be a better win than anything on Crawford or Lomachenko resumes since they never faced p4p fighters

P4P is such a subjective list. Some weigh accomplishment more while others weigh skills and ability more. The way I see it, P4P should be if any given fighter were to fight at a mythical weight class, how would their skill and ability measure up?

Overall if he beats Canelo I would put him at #2 or #3, with an argument for Crawford and/or Gonzalez ahead of him. Loma and M. Garcia could all up on the P4P top three depending on their next win.

Canelo is not that good to me. So #2 or #3 is where he should be. Top5 is his place right now.

But it also depends on how you win. If he destroys Canelo well you could even put him on your #1. But I dont see that kind of performance.

Personally, I'd have him at #2, which I know is an unpopular opinion from those who think it's either too generous or too conservative.

Thinking about it, it's actually sad and pathetic how many boxing "experts"(probably paid shills) had him ranked as number #1 before Ward beat Kov. I'd say he's just outside the top 5 behind Ward, Crawford, Spence, Loma and Thurman.

I'd still take Ward at no.1 due to his run across two weights and the depth of his resume.

Happy to GGG in at no.2/3 with Crawford though.

Crawford is a class act. Depends how GG looks in (hypothetically) winning if he went above him or not.

If Gonzalez can win dominantly this weekend he will be right back up there as well.

P4P looked pretty weak for a while after Pac and Mayweather. But its looking pretty good now. Some excellent fighters up there in the top 5

p4p is totally subjective, people appear to me to base it on resume and wins? which is weird considering i always thought it was a hypothetical question based on - if all guys were the same size and weight - who would be the best.

with that said - anywhere between 1-3 imo. depending on how dominant the win is - i.e if he knocks canelo out or wins a sd/md.

Based on were he is 1....but he shouldn't be #2 in the first place.He should be like #4 maybe. Regardless of How Ward won he beat a top 3 p4p fighter twice
