If Arum would have let Cotto fight Mayweather a couple years earlier at 147 you'd all be saying how Mayweather didn't want a piece of Cotto once he got to 154 which was clearly his best weight.

You try to have it both ways. Even when Marquez called out Mayweather the haters said, "no way would Floyd fight a technician like Marquez." Then Floyd comes in 2 lbs over the catch weight limit, pays a fine, and proceeds to destroy Marquez with speed and agility, not size. Size had nothing to do with Mayweather beating Marquez 12-0.

You all said he'd never fight any of these cats right before he fought and beat them. Then afterwards and as time went by you moved the needle. Now you got called out for it here and your response is that you were just full of crap and exaggerating then, so why take anything you write seriously ever?

Floyd fought everyone he needed to fight and he fought them when he could, that's the simply truth.
I cant remember anyone saying Floyd was scared to fight JMM. But if they did it was because he wasnt fighting anyone, so was basically scared of everyone including the flyweights. Nothing to boast about once floyd beats em. Nobody saying if Floyd beats JMM its a great win as FLoyd was scared initially.
    He bloated JMM up.
Yes Floyd had to fight SSM it was the fight at the time as Floyd was not fighting anyone, so a SSM was a good fight for FLoyd.
But past prime SSM, who had a bad neck on the night and couldnt perform like he would have liked.

The same exact people saying Canelo was green were the same ones saying Mayweather was ducking him because he didn't fight him sooner.
During that time people were saying he would duck Canelo and was scared of him..Even saying he was afraid to take his shades off to look at him.

You are replying to a guy who just said "he had 44 fights and several title fights"...yeah if you count beating up light welters and has beens for vacant straps lol

His best opponent had been Trout and he won that closely.

Now, those of us who arent race baiters would have no problem in giving him credit for the iwn if Canelo had not been shrunk down and drained, against fraud who had just fouht wto title holders at 154 at the proper weight.

            Coward personified.

Why do Floyd fans keep boasting about who people said Floyd was scared to fight? Floyd fans shouldn't be proud that people said Floyd was scared to fight bantamweights and flyweights etc.
Floyd was fighting very little and taking long breaks so of course everyone accused Floyd of being scared.
He was worried to fight at 154 that's for sure. When your a GOAT wannabbe these are hardly small details that can just be ignored. You will be called up on it. Im a Floyd fan and I want him to be top 20 atg, but I think when Floyd wants to be a little too greedy with his all time standing he gets it in the neck. I want Floyd to be realistic.

I can't see him being top 20 now tbh. He missed out on too many great fights and prime opponents and in his own words was afraid to fight his biggest threat.

It's sad because he has the skilled to easily be top 20 and top 5 all tiem defensive skillset but none of the desire. Heck, he's made a lot of money and at one stage said thats all that matter...now he and his fans wana moan about his legacy? lol

Floyd is smoke and mirrors. Floyd's win over PAC is similar to BH second win over rjj.
By the time BH beat rjjj, rjj was not rjj of old. Similar to the PAC Floyd beat.
Floyd beat past prime SSM after a nice win over margarito. PAC beat prime Barrera coming off 8 win streak

Not only that, but Pacquiao won that fight.
