Somebody gets it. I also saw a comment reference boxing IQ as an advantage for Canelo...I'm like wtf? Lol i put GGG at #4 in terms of ring IQ based on what we've seen from him in terms of ring generalship, adjustments, shot selection, etc.

Floyd, Ward, and Loma are 1,2, & 3 in my mind.

You could throw Rigo, Thurman, Mikey, Chocalatito in there too...I don't think Canelo has shown elite thinking in the ring. We've seen him not be able to make adjustments in like 4 fights in the last four years or so.

Crazy how so many posters want to see Canelo fail. LLL will need plan A, B, and C for this fight and be loses the Jacobs fight without the KD. Hope he's ready for someone in their prime whose in tip top condition, faster than him, and prefers to counter-punch (something LLLenady doesn't like).

GGG is going to be pumping that jab all night the same as he did against Lemeiux. If Canelo can't counter that jab then GGG will win. If Canelo can neutralize GGG jab then Canelo wins. I see GGG using the jab early and placing select shots and won't engage till later rounds. Canelo will attack the body and both will try to control range with Canelo wanting to get close and GGG keeping his distance because Canelo is clearly the better inside fighter.

Been saying it all along. Ggg is TOO SLOW! Canelos speed and boxing iq along with natural counter punching abilities will have canelo 2-3 steps ahead of ggg all night. To the point ggg will have to risk going for ko and may end up getting ko'd late...

Like I've been saying, they knew upfront that GGG would tax that ass so they bulked the diva up like a tank thinking she'd possibly be able to catch GGG early and take him out. But, as the recent videos have shown, the diva looks like she's punching in first gear now that the extra muscle has been added.

You are right about boxing, but that meme of Ben Carson grossly mischaracterizes facts. I don't know why people are acting like Canelo has Zab Judah like speed advantage. It will be minimal at best. He'll have no option but to bulk up or he'll be worn down easily by Golovkin. If his speed is sacrificed by it then so be it. Speed will not win this fight it will be boxing skills, and the ability to absorb punishment and weather the storm.

You are right. I swear every time I hear about this big time speed advantage from Canelo I sit back and wonder WTF did I miss all these years. He is faster than Golovkin but isn't even remotely close to that big of an advantage.
