    Mayweather/Mcgregor PPV Refund/FTC Complaint

Refunds are still being issued for the Mayweather/Mcgregor fight by cable and satellite providers.
The number to call to complain about the failure by Showtime/Viacom, Mayweather Promotions, and UFC is:
Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357 (1-877-FTC-HELP).
Let them know of the difficulty you had, and of your dissatisfaction. It will assist with getting your refund from you cable provider, and ensure better service from boxing pay-per-view providers in the future.
To join a class action lawsuit that ensures payment and justice, fans who paid for this event can also call attorney Mark Geragos at 213-625-3900, or Michael Fuller at 503-201-4570.

It is important for boxing fans to be united in this effort. Even though the days of free boxing are gone, there is no way the cable networks, promoters, and tv distributors should be able to take the fans for granted, and take their money, but not deliver what was sold to them.

the amount of money they are going to end up losing because of refunds and lawsuits is going to be crazy. They have already issue a ton of refunds but fans are still trickling in and the UFC is shady as phuk. Took them a long time before they even released a statement acknowledging this. Dana White put out a public release saying they will refund everyone while they have refund some if you look on social media and twitter they have made the process very difficult and are flat out ignoring emails and dragging feets with refunding a majority of the customers. They going to get slapped with a class act suit like the one Showtime got hit with. Got folks talking about boycotting UFC over this mess. lol

I'm pretty sure they both had guarantees. (You can't believe a word that gets "reported" in the press by places like ESPN. Even the commission contracts are BS, subject to *********). They had back-end money too, but it was like 80/20 in favor of the promoter. Not sure why anyone would blame dana white. The owner is Ari Emanuel/WME. White is a frontman, with tiny ownership interest.
Mayweather supposedly got $100 million. If he did, 1/2 will go to taxes, $30 million to settle liens for unpaid taxes and interest due, and he'd be left with $20 million. If he's on the hook as a promoter (as he claimed), he's liable for legal action.

NO because neither is responsible for Showtime and UFC technical issues. They will get their money but Showtime and UFC will take Losses for THEIR technical issues.
