A 3rd loss. Ward is too tough for Kovi.
If Andre Ward fought Kovalev in a neutral location with neutral officials..

I had Ward winning the first fight and I feel as though Ward would have always adjusted better in a rematch. Ward neutralized that right hand so much easier in the rematch.Comment

He mentioned that he wasn't able to do road work during the first camp because of a knee injury that kept flaring up. I was wondering why he was so immobile the first time. He said he didn't want to pull out but also didn't want the injury to be known. Him and Virgil said the injury was addressed for the second camp and you could tell by how much better he moved in the second fight which also helped him negate the right hand.Comment

America is and will always be the Mecca Of Boxing and Mayweather vs McGregor proved that once again! If Kovalev could make the money he makes here back in Russia? Then he wouldn't ***ing be fighting here! So no the Rules doesn't change for Kovalev or any of these new fighters whom their fans want entitlement for.
As for beating Ward, his best chance was the 1st Fight to STOP WARD CLEAN, after that I and other posted on this forum that the rematch favors Andre Ward big time and guess what? It Did! So a 3rd Time? Kovalev really gets embarrassed! Put it like this, it is a reason why Kovalev himself, his team and his crazed fans are not clamoring for a rematch. They know their guy escaped the embarrassment of getting stopped clean by a guy who he spent the entire Pre Fight saying how Ward "Hit Like Girl"

I thought Kovalev deserved to win the first fight and I thought Weeks was very unfair to him and should have been giving him 5 minutes to recover from a clear illegally low blow rather than stopping the fight. Weeks himself admitted later he made a bad call. Even with a good fair referee it looked like Ward was going to win the rematch. Ward was coming on and hurting him and Kovalev was fading.Comment

Not to mention CRYvalev turning his back on Ward in round 8 and crying to the ref during round 7 essentially "asking for help".
There was almost no way for QUITvalev to win the 2nd fight, however, a very real case can be made for the 1st fight.
At this point in time Ward definitely wins a 3rd fight even if it's in Russia. Ward exposed the soft body of QUITvalev and Sergio just doesn't have the tools to change much of anything.
Regarding the 1st fight...Sergio wins if it's Russia for sureComment
