Eddie Hearn has added Kal Yafai's (22-0, 14 KOs) mandatory WBA World Super flyweight title defence against Japan's Sho Ishida (24-0, 13 early) to the undercard of Anthony Joshua's IBF World, WBA Super World and IBO heavyweight world title defence against Kubrat Pulev at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on October 28. People want to talk **** about Pulev but at least he's the IBF number 1 ranked contender. When was the last time BUMSQUAD wilder fought a mandatory ? Never, not even a top five ranked contender just pretenders

Who cares. Eddie's just using Kal as a PPV padder so he can say 5 WORLD TITLE FIGHTS ON THIS CARD!

Its a bit more than that. The plan is for him to fight the Gonzalez/Rungvisai winner next. Getting Yafai more exposure.

Yafai is the best U.K boxer IMO really underrated. I know nothing about his opponent though he is Japanese so undoubtably he'll come to fight and be durable as hell and have superhuman cardio.

Would love to see Kal vs the top 5 of the division would be hard for me to pick against him vs any of them I believe he is that good.

Is Joshua going to roid cycle for 6 months in between each fight? This MR Olympia contender and his shameless pimp Hearn will need 12 months of "preparation" for Ortiz and Wilder fights.

I'm a fan of Yafai, don't get me wrong. I'm more against what Eddie's doing. He's going to make Kal become the guy who people know as someone who fills a PPV card for Joshua.
