However, He might try and cheat the scales again, and will waste all my money. **** Castillo.

Probably not, we will have to wait for the results of the boxing commision's inquiry. He might get his license suspended for quite sometimes.

I'd rather see him go in with someone that isn't handicapped(weight drained when he isn't) and see him get KTFO.

He used to be my favorite fighter...

I gues it depends, mostly, on what the NSAC does regarding his license. I'm getting the feeling from everything said that he's probably looking at a 1 year suspension. They want to set an example for fighters who sign a weight contract and are unwilling or unable to make that weight.

            Castillo facing sanctions!

The 4.5 pounds he failed to lose could be expensive for Jose Luis Castillo. New NSAC executive director Keith Kizer is currently deciding if sanctions are forthcoming and Castillo could be fined as much as $250,000 by the Nevada Commission plus be suspended or have his boxing license revoked. Meanwhile, Corrales, who lost a $1.2 million purse, stated yesterday that he is considering suing Castillo. Castillo's promoter Bob Arum put his losses at $1 million, while Corrales' promoter Gary Shaw estimated his losses to be in the hundreds of thousands. In addition, SHOWTIME network had significant penalties written into Castillo's contract, should he not make weight.

Article says "could be suspended or have his boxing license revoked." so who knows...i dont know how long it could last....because the fight is for November right?

and 250 thoudand dollars is way to much money, we arn't talking about basketball players here and castillo didn't fight, so how could they charge him that much money? doesn't make sense
