"George Groves Has MORE POWER Than GGG!" - Martin Murray

Murray has been in the ring with both Groves and GGG. He says that Groves has more single punch power than GGG.

    GG > GGG?

Doesn't really surprise me. GG is a hard punching big SMW. He's also not saying GG is the better fighter just that his backhand is the hardest 1 punch

Golovkin dropped you multiple times and knocked you out.

groves didnt drop you once in a competitive fight.

        'groves hits harder'

        makes sense

Power is just as much about how you set up the shots as it is actually generating force.

He is just saying that Groves has more force behind his shots (unsurprising given he is a big SMW who can crack).

GGG catches you with punches you arent expecting with accuracy and power. Groves mostly just bludgeoned Murrays gloves.

Did you watch the video? He says that GGG has a great variety of punches and that every punch is hard. He said Groves has the most power on any one shot (his backhand) but that's it.

Dude isn't as good as GGG so obviously he isn't anywhere near as effective with his power.

It sounded to me like he said Groves has the hardest single punch but every punch GGG throws is hard and accurate. I have trouble understanding him. He has a very strong accent. Groves is a big puncher from a heavier weight class so it's not surprising he has a best punch that is slightly harder than GGG's best punch. GGG is still the guy with a large variety of hard accurate punches who gets more KO wins than Groves.

Why do fighters always downplay their biggest losses? Whoever gives them the biggest whooping is never the best fighter they faced or the best at anything. It's such a weird thing boxers do all the time.
