Anyone who thinks Floyd can't read is an idiot. He obviously learned how to read in grade school. Now whether or not he reads well is a different matter but he can obviously read.

Well if this is true, good for Floyd. You are only 40. You have a lot of life to live. Improving your reading skills is a good thing.

As much as I can't stand him as a fighter and a person, I don't think he should be publicly ridiculed for his lack of education or literacy.

Dudes can post articles alleging that Floyd can't read without any backlash, but the moment a dude makes a thread claiming he can, he's suddenly the biggest fanboy/*****/blah blah in HISTORY!

Floyd is 5 years younger than me, but we grew up about a mile from each other, I know a ton of cats who went to Ottawa Hills High School with him. While he did drop out before graduating, there is zero chance he didn't learn how to read at Iriquois Middle School before he even got to Ottawa. Might not be an accomplished reader, but there is no doubt he can read at least basic info. In the 80s and 90s those schools were good schools, not sure about now. They weren't letting kids pass if they couldn't read.

One of my drinking buddies has the claim to fame of getting his ass kicked by Roger Mayweather in middle school because he lost a bet to Jeff Mayweather and wouldn't pay up.

Troll attempt fail. The trolls have given up trying to disparage his ring accomplishments, so now it's that he's not a good reader. Floyd retired undefeated and unchallenged as the best of his era, deal with it.

this is ****ing ******. I don't believe this story for a second. It's only half as dumb as the sparring partner injecting manny's ass with roids story, but still, what idiot actually spent time writing this? That's the funny part.

Every time someone posts something about Arum, PAC, or anybody else semi Floyd related the alts start generating Mayweather comedy threads.

These posters don't want anybody to be able to discuss their opinion openly. They want to control the conversation with their disruptive behavior. Silly

He can read just not a high level of course because he dropped out of school to purse his dream. I remember when Mayweather use to live stream and he would answering fans questions. Looking at how things worked out for him I'm sure he has no regrets choosing a career in boxing over his education
